John 13:34:

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

In the Torah:

Leviticus 19:18 commands: “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.”

Even in the Quran:

Surah Al-Hujurat 49:10: Brotherhood among believers is commanded, with reconciliation and mercy as the path to divine favor.

Surah Al-Imran 3:92: “You will never attain righteousness until you spend in charity from that which you love. And whatever you spend, indeed Allah is Knowing of it.” This verse ties love to sacrificial giving, echoing Christ’s self-giving love.

Surah Al-Mumtahanah 60:8: “Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes, from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.” This extends love and justice even beyond the community of believers.

“In reflection we find one another and no story greater than love, no symbol stronger than unity.” -JM

“We stand as siblings, rooted in Abraham’s tree, each branch reaching toward unity.” - JM

It is our differences that paint the world with beauty, and it is our pain that binds us together as one human family. In the colors of diversity and the echoes of struggle, we find the shared strength of compassion and the quiet truth that none of us are alone.
